The Sky Vane consists of 3 components, the sensor array, the adaptive music, and the structure.

The sensor array consists of a multitude of atmospheric sensors that take real time readings of changes in temperature, air pressure, sunlight, and humidity.

The adaptive music is a set of bespoke non-linear compositions that use the data from the sensor array to drive, modulate, and shift a piece of infinite music directed by the weather.

The structures are site specific, they host the technics and Sensor Array, and can include self-sustaining power. The structure acts as a communal focal point, a lens to be able to think differently about our climate and our place within it.
